I've been looking at them myself... I'm thinking about them french greying my rolling block, & they are close enough to me, that I could take my rifle there, & check everything out in person... I think I saw one of thier rifles "used" in the local toy store, but it had sold by the next time I went back, after realizing what it was...

one thought: you will NOT see them at SS rifle matches. That should tell you all you need to know. Rich DRSS Knowledge not shared is knowledge lost...

#1). I have met Mr. Brown. He is a nice guy. This was before the company incorporated which can makes tons of difference. #2). You do not see his rifles at single shot rifle matches because he builds them on a pistol action. The action was developed to compete with T/C and I suspect it is not large enough for the standard single shot rifle cartridges... My old back admires that. #3). He has worked with and developed cartridges off the .219 Don Wasp thinking [ 7mm American? ] that have won many, many single shot pistol competitions. He mentions some on his web site, eabco.com and takes email questions... And his "house cartridges" are on the .219 Improved Zipper. More ancient thinking the accuracy of which is seldom equalled, let alone exceeded. Gave rise to the .225 Winchester half a century after Mr. Donaldson was creating "benchrest" with his buddies. I too yearn for one of the little darlings. Soon as I decide on the caliber(s) (you can have switch barrel) and find the money... so what else is new... luck.

I like my 30-30 pistol he made. It shoots half inch and better when I can hold it steady enough wich anymore is a rare day. DRSS NRA life AK Master Guide 124

not saying they are not a good action, just that the accuracy potential is not there that a Miller, or HiWall, or Borchardt can offer. The Miller rifle I had would do consistent 10-shot groups in the 1-1.25" range at 200 yds at Schuetzen matches. Rich DRSS Knowledge not shared is knowledge lost...

This Dan Lilja ad shows you what I am talking about, for instance: http://www.riflebarrels.com/winners/cba.htm For the whole enchilada, here are the current CBA National Records, up to date (Scroll down toward the bottom to see the 10-shot group records): http://www.castbulletassoc.org/nationalrecord/natrecord.pdf
