Has anyone got a Thompson Center factory 24" barrel in 243?? If so has anyone shot any of the 55gr. bullets?? If so how does it shot. I am thinking about getting rid of my 22-250 and using a 243 for deer and varmits....Leon

I just got mine a little while back, but the lightest bullets I have fired are 85 gr HPBT's reloads. This rifle shoots nice. I don't really ever shoot it much. I have a few 243's that I am playing with now. But plan to try it soon, on some coyotes.

I just love the feel of an Encore when I sholder it.
