Needless to say, that's the nicest Savage 219 I've ever laid eyes on. I've always liked them (owned a couple over the years) and I wish I'd had the idea of doing (and the money to do) what you did to yours.

Gotta love this Q&A between consignor and the maker --

When questioned by consignor why he had expended so much effort, energy & expense on such an inexpensive firearm, his reply was:

"What was the piece of canvas worth before the Mona Lisa was painted on it?" Big Grin
