I purchased my 45/70 in Nov2006 and am currently using Hornady leverevolution 325 grain bullet. It's one of the most accurate combination I've ever shot. Second and third bullets are practically in the same hole as the first. Shot four deer and all dropped immediately from neck shots at 70 to 100 yards.Several of my friends are using the NEF Handirifle and the accuracy of their guns are comparable using the Hornady bullet.
