I had a chance to shoot my Luxus 9.3 today with Trailboss loads and RWS factory loads. Everything shot well and this gun is a great joy to shoot. I am thinking the 9.3x74r factory loads are all I want in this light weight rifle. I have a vintage 3x Leupold on it with a post crosshair. The more I shoot my Luxus guns the more I like them. My guns are definitely not safe queens unless I'm too busy to shoot or hunt with them. I look forward to passing these well used guns on to my sons in the future when i have had a chance to give them that well used look. I don't think anything looks better than a well used classic blue and walnut gun.

Sounds great! Love to see a picture if you could post a couple. Im sure your sons will really appreciate a quality gun like that.

I spent many hours over the last week sitting in hunting blinds enjoying my Luxus rifle. It's picked up a bump or two but that's OK.

Here is a cell phone pic of the 9.3 near my hunting area.

That is a beautiful rifle. I'm curious to know what sort of velocity you got with your trailboss loads.

I shoot 20 grains of Trailboss with a 286 grain lead bullet. I have not run it over a chrono but it smacks a hickory tree with authority and is quite accurate.

That rifle also has a 223 barrel fitted to it. It is serial #4.

yes, you have me by 3 on serial numbers. Mine is #7 but I can trump you with the fact that my rifle was the one used by the NRA to do their write up. Cool

#1 & #3 trump anything else.
