Just got back from the range; here it is; 400 grain cast bullet, 20-1, snover type, sized .410 SPG lube that I use in my 40-65, plain base. 29 grains of 5744, fiber wad under bullet; NOT on the powder. Shoots MOA, and doesn't kick at all. Try it after you tire of shooting full power loads, or, like me, want to slow down throwing 80 cent pieces down range with every shot. I have a mercury thing in the butt; I don't know if it actually does anything or not, except add a pound and make the gun muzzle light.
