Just got back from the range; here it is; 400 grain cast bullet, 20-1, snover type, sized .410 SPG lube that I use in my 40-65, plain base. 29 grains of 5744, fiber wad under bullet; NOT on the powder. Shoots MOA, and doesn't kick at all. Try it after you tire of shooting full power loads, or, like me, want to slow down throwing 80 cent pieces down range with every shot. I have a mercury thing in the butt; I don't know if it actually does anything or not, except add a pound and make the gun muzzle light.

Try about 28 grains of Trail Boss with a 210 grain Speer .41 cal pistol bullet(can't find Hornady anywhere). Tons of fun, and super cheap to shoot.

Yes, I will try them; I got lots of 41 mag bullets from shooting them in 40-65s and .405s.
