i'm shooting an encore 25-06 and have nothig but high praise for the caliber and the gun overall is an excellent shooter. the trigger is very crisp and low weight around 3 lbs of trigger pull and no travel at all. the factory barrel is excellent and is very accurate for sure. i don't feel like i will lose anything with the barrel and the overall gun is outstanding

You don't have to go with the hangar bar system. Fred Smith at Bullberry will make it for factory forend spacing but you will have to ask for it that way. MBCO will do one from your blank and any forend spacing you want.
