Cheapo Weaver Bases 11 and 16 fit right on. What BPCR cal. did you buy? Pete

You might consider Kelblys rings and bases. They make a set of bases that are like scope blocks for the old-style external adjustment scopes, and rings to fit.

You can troll Gunbroker and some of the big mail order houses or maybe Brownells.

I got a set for about $20 like that.
They were marked Browning but appeared to have been made by Burris.

I bought the Winchester 45-70. I found a set of Browning bases but they will require some modification. I will probably use the weavers until I can have a custom quarter rib built. Thanks for the help everyone.

I got the weaver bases, put it all together and took it out for a trail run and barrel break in. This thing clover leafs Hornandy lever ammo at 100yds. Chronographs slightly faster than factory published velocites.

A HUGE step up from my H&R Handi rifle!
