i'm just recovering from having my arm twisted into buying that nice hi wall, when now my other arm has been twisted and in a most cruel way. now it is another martini cadet. this one has no markings on it, but one glance lets you know that somebody was a hellova craftsman.. I believe it would date back to the late 50's or early 60's. the stock is rosewood and has a herters buttplate on it. the entire action has been honed to and is the smoothest i've ever handled. with the reversed hook on the cocking lever, you can open it with a touch of your little finger . but the crown is in the scope bases. they have been cut out of a single piece of barstock to wrap around the barrel, but turn into dovetailed bases on the top and squared underneath with a small cut to tighten them down; that's probably a lousy explaination, but i doubt they could be duplicated for less than 1500 each. chambering is in 219 improved zipper i've taken some pictures of both of these rifles and will try one more time to get through photobucket, but if i can't biebs will post them for me

If you wanted to send that Martini to me I can supply some good stuff to rub on that arm to help with the pain coffee

I don't believe I have seen a complete stock made of rosewood! I thought it was too soft or too oily. Shows you what I know. If you would like some extremely effective pain medicine for that other arm I would be willing to trade for the Martini. Shhh, don't tell, it's illegal to trade meds. DW
