anybody fired one of these yet? If so how did it shoot and what sort of velocity were you getting?

Dave, if you are referring to the Katahdin Barrels you may want to really think about that ported barrel. I have a Guide Gun and that porting does not bother me but I was not impressed at all with the one and only T/C ported barrel I ever shot. A friend who has shot more Contenders than I have has made the same comment. Now if you bought the barrel then lopped it off behind the ports that would be a different story. I think you would really like it then. Keep in mind I have not shot one of those barrels, this is just something for you to ponder. Sean
