I am in the process of building and restocking a Cadet and need a stock. Has anyone used Gunstocks Inc out of Iowa?

I have. I sent them the wood and the stock was delivered in the time frame he quoted. the stock was well done but it is not a slip on fit.

Stay away from him. I sent him a savage 99 perch belly stock to copy. The duplicate stock had big gaps around the metal. I returned the wood for a do-over and he returned my original wood with a 25% refund and claimed the rest was kept for expenses. My credit card company eventually took the rest from him. He is the definition of an a__hole. I understand from other posts I've read that he has had death threats from other dissatisfied customers.

Check with a stock company called Silvetline who sells on eBay. I have bought several nice cadet stocks from him.
