| Ruger 1V's cannot use the quarter rib because of the contour. They come standard with target blocks. MchaelJ

| you'll either have to make a base to fit or i believe there is a mount made by someone for the 1v (can't remember who) however i hope you guys realize that the scope is probably worth more than the rifle |

| He could compromise and mount a Redfield 3200. It has AO and normal turrets. Pete

| yeah he knows how much the scope is worth (after i told him). I'm thinking his best bet might be to just sell the whole thing for twice what he paid and buy/build what he wants. he only bought it because he wanted a 22-250.
thanks for th info guys |

And what precisely is this? Should that read "Unertl Ultra Varmint"? Just checking. I have used Unertls all my life and have never heard of the Unertl "Varmint Special". Just want to make sure there isn't a big gap in the education I should have received....or is there? |

| Ruger No 1-V comes from the manufacurer with Ruger bases and rings made for that barrel contour. Get on their web site and look up the catalogue numbers. Simple.
