I heard someone on another forum mention that Ruger might be bringing out a 264 Win. Mag. in the Ruger #1?? Anyone else hear about that?? I think I would have to have one of those. If anyone hears about these please keep us informed. I am pretty sure I would have to buy one of these. Then get one of those Luxus stocks. Now wouldn't that be a dandy. Big Grin Big Grin Tom.

Ruger cataloged the 264 Winchester Magnum in 1969. I haven’t heard anything but if they do, it needs to be in a 26” barrel, either an S or a B model. Other wise it’s just a piece of junk to me.

Never heard of Lipseys. I will have to look them up. Will they send you pictures of a rifle before you buy one?? I would like one of the 264'2, but I want it to have good wood. I would pay extra for better wood, but I will not buy one without decent wood, or without seeing it first. Thanks, Tom.

Here it is @ Lipseys

Might be one for me to consider!

I just talked to a Canadian dist. for Lipseys, Lipseys only made a small handful of these & I guess they have no more.
But the good news is, that his Ruger rep. told him Ruger will be cataloging it soon. So there should be tons to be had.

MickinColo, it is indeed a 26" bbl'ed #1S

That’s the rifle I want. I need to figure out what it’ll take to get one.

I think I need one too....I guess Lipseys apparantly made only 20 or so Confused.

A guy might be able to find out from Lipseys where/who they sold them all too.

Or do like me, wait til they make production runs of them.

all my wholesale outfits are still showing ruger #1 in that caliber. But they are all showing zero on counts. if it is new this year will have to check ruger web site to verify. If thats the case it could be about mid year before we see them in good numbers to were gun shops can get there hands on them to sell.
