I have a couple guns that I inherited from my father. One is a Stevens Model 44 1/2 chambered in a .22 caliber wildcat with, as best I can tell, all of the pieces there and in pretty good shape (not the original barrel though). The other is a Model 44 chamber in .22 LR that needs to have the metal refinished, the bore relined and the final fitting for a really nice tiger-stripe forend and buttstock. I am having a hard time finding an estimated value for these. Anybody have any suggestions where I could an estimate of these guns' value?

Ralph Condition means everything. I'd suggest that you consider asking the question where they specialize in that field. You should get a good response from http://www.assra.com/ check out their boards. You will probably be able to find someone nearby. good luck
