I was wondering if anyone here ever fired one of these German Parlor Rifles. After years of languishing in the corner of my safe, it was finally brought out and thouroughly scrutinized. After determining its caliber I was pleased to find out that ammo was available in the U.S. Soon I'll be able to test its accuracy.

Anyone have any experience/suggerstions?

My dad is one of the last marksman shooting with the Zimmerstutzen a few time at year. The normal range is about 15m, but the most airrifle ranges are only 10m and so the most competions are shot at this range. The Zimmerstutzen´s are the formaly target indoor and short range rifles, befor the airrifles get populare. After WW2 the most rifles were forbidden and only the airrifles was for target shooting allowed. Later, the most forget the Zimmerstutzen and now only a few older marksmen are shooting at competions.
