Don't know about the .22-250, but out of 4 centerfires and one rimfire mine are very accurate.

The only issues to date have been ejection of Russian ammo cases in the .223's. That was cured by a little chamber polishing with medium grit valve grinding compound. I affixed an empty case to a dowel rod and covered it with compound and "rolled" it between my palms for a few minutes. No more problem.

Wrongtarget: The .35-30 and .35-40 Maynard cartridges came out about 1882. The former is closer to .357 Max dimensions than the latter, which has a longer case. These cartridges are actually a bit larger in the base and rim than the Max. But the ballistics are easily duplicated. The original took a 250-grain .359 bullet and case full of BP to give about 1280 fps, according to Cartridges of the World. I am pretty sure Steve Garbe or one of the other BPC experts have used this for schuetzen work. Garbe has also championed the .30-30 Wesson, which was another schuetzen cartridge that is duplicated by resizing .357 Max brass into the long, tapered Wesson case.

Bill, I did an internet search for the .35 Maynard, no info, would like to know more about it. The only ammo I have shot in it is Dan Wesson 158 and 170grn, they both shoot good. With a Bushnell 1.5-4.5x32 scope it shoots 1.5" at 100yds. I have dies to reload for it if I decide to.
Thx
