Anyone know if the flex tech forearm will work with a factory tapered barrel?

Yes, have one on my 284 barrel. I purchased it with a Pro Hunter frame intending to use the frame and stock for a stand alone muzzleloader. The flex tech forearm looks great on another frame with a synthetic thumbhole stock. Thee original forarm I had did not match the thumbhole stock in color or texture.
