Mr. concho:

Generally speaking, the Husqvarnas are among the best of the Roller actions. When the military replaced them with a repeating rifle, many of the rollers were refurbished by the arsenal and rebuilt into forester rifles. Perhaps shotguns as well?

Whilst I have never encountered a Husqvarna shotgun, I would expect it to be of the same high quality as the rifle actions. What kind of extractor does it have? Is it a long arm pivoting on a screw that is put in low on the left side of the frame, down around the trigger guard screws? Does it have the firing pin retractor built into the top of the breech block?

A picture or two would help.

Glenn

www.pettsons.net Go to the Husqvarna pages, and than "Rolling Block".

Btw, Husqvarna made alot of fine shotguns. You can have a look at some of the hammer actions here: www.pappaalva.com/husqvarna
