Just got this rifle back from my stock refinisher. I bought this rifle used from Cabelas with the stock a little rough but with very good figure.

It shoots incredibly tight groups using the Barnes 250 gr TTSX bullets. What I didn't know, until my stock refinisher broke it down, is that the fore-end had already been reworked for accuracy.

The pics you will see, hopefully from Biebs will show what a #1 should look like. Thanks for looking.

By the way, my finisher hand checkered over the factory Ruger stuff, and the checkering is fantastic.

If it appears there's a big scratch on the left side of the receiver it's because there is one. But since this is a hunter I just did some touch up work on it last night and it's barely visible now. No need to have it re-blued.

Very nice rifle; this is one of my favorite #1s; the only thing that might make it better is if it was in 450-400.

That's ok Tom. You should get some rest, especially on those cold cold days in your part of the country.

Can't wait to get that .275 Rigby in my hands.
