Hate to be the bringer of bad news but Remington is only listing the single shot in .223, .243, .270 & '06. There's a freakin' surprise...
Where do you see that? I checked the www.spartangunworks.com page and they don't list any centerfire calibers, just the shotguns. Is it listed somewhere else?

RQGWere you able to contact EAA and get any info on this rifle. I too would consider one in 6.5. I would love a Ruger 1a in this caliber but for 200 bucks I would certainly try out the EAA. I checked with my gun dealer and they aren't listed in the catalog that they have. Heck at that price a few other caliber may be added as well.

Mikey BYeah, I just heard Remington was going to start distribution and branding of these rifles themselves as inexpensive "brand-name" rifles... Which is fine with me... As long as I can get my "Remington Spartan" single shot in 6.5, I'll be happy!
