Only thing wrong w/ the T/C type wrist strap is when winter hunting, they get in the way of jackets, gloves, etc. Most guys I know use a slip on butt ammo carrier, but I don't care for them. I belt carrier & the two rounds on the rifle. LIFE IS NOT A SPECTATOR'S SPORT! | |||

Uncle Mike's makes a wrist strap, but it holds the cartridges the other direction: Wrist Strap I used a buttstock holder on my number 1, and with practice it was fairly fast. I bought the wrist strap to try out with my double. I did not like the way the buttstock holder slid around on the Ruger. Mims did have a suggestion to fix that by making a hole in the holder and putting the swivel stud through it to anchor the holder. | |||
