What hole pattern do I ask for if I want to use Talley mounts? 4 or 6?

How many holes in your Tally mount?

I don't have a talley mount here, and I have looked at 20 different photos of them on the internet and have yet to see where it showed the pattern.

If I had a mount to look at I wouldn't be asking the question.

Unless you're going to shoot a big bore or rifle with severe recoil I don't advocate more than 4 holes.

The bases that come with MGM barrels are normally 4 hole but I believe you can get a 6 hole if you feel you need one.

Why would you consider a 6 hole mount? Large bore?
