Do any of you guys have experience with the E. A. Brown model 97 rifles? The info on their website speaks of great accuracy and quality but wanted to hear first-hand from those who shoot and hunt with them. What kind of groups are you able to shoot with them? What is fit and finish like? Considering having one built in 17 Squirrel. They seem to make a light and handy rifle which seems perfect for the little Squirrel. I've got a year+ left on my overseas assignment and that will be just about perfect for the wait on one of his rifles if they are money well-spent. Thanks guys. Alan F

You might try your question at the forums of the Am. Single Shot Rifle Assn. Sorry, I do not own one and can't help much more than that. I did think the receiver extension they use (the action was designed as a pistol) looked a bit odd. I recall reading they are as accurate as any of that ilk.
