I had posted a couple months ago about a repro sharps that I had gotten and could not get to shoot good with any load. I tried different powders, larger sizing dies, diferent seating lengths, crimpingand no crimp. Finally sent the rifleback to the companyand after they checked it out and could not find anything wrongthey sent it to a company that does testing for them. They couldn't get get it to shoot either. They said the barrel aws no good, to many high and low spots and lead was to long. They finally sent a new rifle and I took it to the rangeand this one shoots much better.Someone else had posted that they were having problems with thier emf too.Maybe he could send his back. Could be a bad batch of barrels. Thanks guys for all your help.

David, As long ago as 20 years back, the word was to avoid EMF Sharps. There were always problems with them that were not overcome by the lower prices as you have found out. derf
