My friend George the Knifemaker has Cadets in many chamberings, and one of them is 25-35 Ackley Improved. He loves it but doesn't load up to 50K, more like 40-45K. He can push a 75-gr bullet to over 3000 fps which is just below the range of the 250-3000. His action has had the breech bushed for a smaller striker nose and yours will probably need it as well. The 25-35 Improved is, IMO, one of the very best cartridges for the little Cadet action and I'd love to find a chambering reamer and dies for it, I have an orphan action that would be perfect... Please be advised that the Cadet striker usually needs bushing and also that the original factory chamber dimensions for the 219 Zipper and the 25-35 will frequently result in sticky cases when loaded hot. Their case wall taper is apparently the same as some mechanical tapers used to hold tapered centers in spindle bores, or at lease close enough to cause problems sometimes. Please see Frank de Haas's Handloader articles on the Zipper family of cartridges for more details. Curiously enough, this tendency toward sticking actually disappears when the chamber is reamed to the Improved dimensions!
