For those who are interested, from the earlier thread:

1. Got tired of waiting for Ruger
2. Gary Reeder in Flagstaff built it
3. Leupold 1.5-5x was broken when it arrived; scope shown & shot today is a 4x Burris compact
4. 21.5" medium-heavy barrel, 9.0 lbs.
5. Intended as a 250 yard max elk/kudu/zebra type hammer.
6. Want to shoot the same ammo that regulates in my Chapuis double.

Here it is:

The 9th, 10th, and 11th shots went into 1.4" at 100 yards:

The 12th, 13th, and 14th shots went into 0.75" at 100 yards:

It seems to shoot noticabely better as it breaks in, and happily it seems to shoot better hot and dirty.

The only load shot today was RWS brass, WW primers, 57.0 gr RL 15, and 286 gr Nosler Partitions.

One more pic:

I like it.

Balance is fine; very steady yet quick-handling.
At 9 lbs, recoil is about like a .270.

Although not what it was built for, it's going to Texas for whitetails in three weeks, just to blood it,
