well I took out the Nef 500 agin this year for my deer hunt and WOW I love this gun. I used 325gr Barns X bullets loaded with 44.0grs of LIL'Gun and took 3 deer the second weekend of Minnesota fire arms the first morning was friday November 9th got in my stand at 5:30 am 1 hour befor leagle shooting time I like ti sit and just listen to what the forest has to say, I was not in my stand 1 min when I had a deer walk by and stop 10 yards from my 10ft tall box stand well even with the snow on the grond i could see the deer but way to erly to shoot, by 6:30 i start to use my rattle bag and by6:45 i have 7 deer running arounf me looking for this fight but cant see them do to the cover I am in 6:50am I have one deer walk with in 40 yards of my stand still kinda dark but can see him just fin I grabed the "BEAST" and lighed up the sights and cocked the hammer and squezed the triger, when this gun gose off every one knows LOL, I hit the deer right throug the haert and lungs it drops down like a bad habit never even new what hit it... went to go drag it out and there is a blood spater out the exit side for 3+ feet it was a smaller buck I did not even see the antlers on it till i got there it was 127lbs dress out...

That evning I went to a differant area where I had just put up a new stand in september I was realy anxish to try it out it was a 2 person 7 foot tall box blind type stand I bilt for my cousien and his doughter to use... I got in to that box blide about 1:00 pm and was thinking it was going to be a longer wait for the deer thinking they wouldnt come throu till 3:30-4:00pm whell my wait was only 40 min and the first deer started coming thru we have decided to try and take moer mature deer out of this area Lots of doas not a hole lot of matue bucks. I had 3 doas feeding in this clearing and thy where 75yards out never even look at the box blind stand I set up so that was nice. I wached them for a bit and some smaller bucks came off and pushed them away then after about 20 min the doas reterned but there was one realy big one she was 3.5-4 years old so I decided i was going to take her agin i grabed the "Beast" and sholderd it lighed up the sights and cocked the hammer started to gently squeze the triger when the "BEAST" went off she just droped like a bag of bricks all the deer ran off in to the brush not knowing what derection the shot came from or what happend. I sat there lookingh thru my binos waching some of the deer in the brush looking around and debating of coming back out so I stayed put and suer enough after 10-15 min some deer came back out all yearlings and a smaller buck wich was atemting to have its way with my BIG doa but with no avail.. there was one yearling doa that was liping bad so I looked at it with the Binos agin and decied seeing I havd a Intesive havest tag I would take her out too thinking that may be she would not make it throu winter she was 100 yards out, the "BEAST" droped another deer my 3 day huinting trip was over in one day.......

I have taken 4 deer with this gun and one bear every animal taken with the "BEAST" has been one shot one kill so I think I will continue to use this gun....
