A high condition WR takedown in 400/360. WR has no records on the rifle, but it is highly engraved with a nicely figured stock. Ken

Quite the rifle. It's hard to believe that WR has no records of it. Frank "I don't know what there is about buffalo that frightens me so.....He looks like he hates you personally. They had some flood and lost some of the books. The serial number isn’t listed in Winfer’s book either. The gun was probably built around 1902-1904. Ken

Beautiful rifle Ken. Which of the various 400/360s is that in? I love takedown rifles. Does that have a steel buttplate or heel and toe clips? Chris

Chris, I’m not sure what you mean by which 400/360. It is a WR 400/360. The barrels marked Westley Richards High Velocity Nitro Express Rifle 360 Bore. Bertram wasn’t fitting well so I’m using 9.3x74R brass cut down and resized (no problems). It has the steel buttplate with a trap door for a cleaning rod (unfortunately it is missing) Ken
