I see that Conetrol lists a one piece mount for a Ruger No. 1B that replaces the factory rib. I am wondering if anyone might have a photo of this setup. I am thinking of buying one, but I cant find a picture on their site or on the web. I guess it cant look any worse than the factory rib. Call them. The last time I ordered, I spoke w/ the owner. Very nice and informative. | |||

I did give them a call. He said the mount screws into the rear two holes for the quarter rib. The rear of the mount extends rearward and places the rear ring over the action. The front of the mount angles up and away from the barrel. The front holes for the quarter rib are plugged with screws that are supplied with the mount. To be honest I picture the mount looking like a one of the pistol mounts that always seem to look out of place. I think I may have custom mounts made.
