Mike, Heck, according to Jeff Cooper you don't "need" anything more than the .308 for hunting till you get up to the bigger of the Big 5.  I know I don't "need" one. I probably don't want one, (though I might fall in lust for one after fondling it) just wondering if the 9.3 bore will become more American and maybe we'd get some more projectiles to play with.
