While Bill Leeper was is in town, he came over and installed the new hammer and the HD spring. What a difference it makes. My trigger was 33oz before and is now 28oz. But it is a tricky little job. I read the directions a few times but thought better to tackle it. Bill had to do some honing to make the safty work and adjust the sear engagement. That heavy spring is no pick nick to install.The way my 25-06 Ruger #1 shoots there was really no improvement needed. But there is nothing like a fine trigger. Crisp with no over travel just like breaking a glass rod.
