My Browning Low Wall .223 is hitting light or will punch through the primer with new factory ammo.
It feels like it's firing just fine and shoots tight groups.
What could be going on?

Bad batch of primers is always a possibility. Some hits go through the primer ? Is the firing pin OK / Shape, length ?

Sounds like you may have some gunk in the pin/spring. It either binds up or releases violently.

Time for a flush and clean.

Can a ruptured primer hurt the gun????????
The pin is smooth back and forth. The hammer hits hard and true. The gun is a 1995 but has almost no use on it. I may try different ammo in it. It sure does shoot tight groups. Better then my any of my other .223's

YES a rupture primer can hurt the gun!!!

Gas leakage at 50K PSI is serious, I have seen it flame cut a ring about the firing pin hole on a 1980s SAKO Vixen before. That issue was traced to a bad batch of Remington primers and Remington paid for the repair of my rifle.

I'd see if it can be traced to the primer batch and if so, send them back to the MFG for testing.
