I see in the NEF catalog a listing finally for the 7.62x39. Has anyone actually bought one? If so, how does it shoot? RELOAD - ITS FUN!

I don't have one, but there are several of em on the Graybeard NEF forum that have the complete rifles or extra barrels, most of em love em, but those that try to shoot milsurp are disappointed due to the hard primers, they get mostly no fire with em. Those that shoot sporting ammo or handloads say they're very accurate. Here's recent thread... http://www.graybeardoutdoors.com/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?t=86883

Wolf makes heavier springs for the NEF. That should cure the primer problem. RELOAD - ITS FUN!

Yeah, the Wolff double coil spring might work fine until it breaks the transfer bar, they break all on their own without any help.

Wrongtarget, If the transfer bars break, is there a fix? Does anyone make a stronger replacement? RELOAD - ITS FUN!

Not that I'm aware of for a better replacement, keeping a spare is the best advice I can offer, you can order the lifter and stiker as they call it, from H&R, Brownells and Numrich, they aren't expensive, but require a complete trigger group tear down. Perklo has a great 2-part download that will help immensely. www.perkloafm.com
