Any body shoot a Blaser K-95? I have a deposit on one in 7X57. I like the idea of a break open single shot in stead of the falling block. I have a few No.1's and love them. I considered the Merkel but the calibers are very limited.

I have a K-95 Stutzen in 308. It shoots very well. I have tried 3 factory loads and one reload in it so far. The first time I took it to the range to sight it in I shot 7 Three shot groups at 100 yards. None were over one inch. I also removed the scope twice while shooting [Blaser European QD lever mount} and it went back to zero 100%.
So far I have only killed a turkey with this rifle but I like it very much.

You will for sure like it. They are pretty, shoot like poison, triggers are very good and both rust protection as well as craftmanship are excellent. I got mine used 2 years ago and am still excited about it.

I am not qualified to comment except to say that I spent an hour fondling several of those K-95s at the Safari Club convention in Reno this winter. Afterwards I read everything about it I could get my hands on. I would love to have one. I think they are top shelf. I think the Krieghoff single shot is also very nice. Maybe a tad nicer, but it is also alot more money. And your choice of the 7 x 57 is great too.

My .02 worth.
