.... Ruger No.1 actions work for any calber? The reason I am asking, I would like to build up a 223 or 223 fat and short and don't know if, like a bolt action, only certain sizes fit certain actions. They can be used for any round. The extractor will have to be replaced for the round selected. Willie B | |||

Sometimes extractors can be altered to work with the new chambering, if the new chamber is larger than the original one...at least when it is a situation of just needing to open it up. My country gal's just a moonshiner's daughter, but I love her still. | |||
