sbsmithBrowning 1885 trigger job?
Can anyone recommend a gunsmith to do a trigger job on my Browning 1885? I hear they are a bit of a mousetrap and getting good triggers is problematic. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

txhunter77Not trying to be negative here but, what exactly is the problem with the factory trigger?
The 2 Browning High-walls I have shot both broke very crisp and were adjustable down to about 3lbs. Though neither was a BPCR, one a 45-70 and the other a 270win.

richjThere a posting on assr about tuning the 85 trigger and a guy that specializes in it. I think he adds a set screw throught the back of the action.

ACRecurveMy Browning highwall's trigger breaks at 1.5 lbs...a bit light, but a joy to shoot. It has no creep.
