I got to see a beautiful Under lever single shot today at the 'smith. The whole barrel slide forward and then hinged open. Caliber was 9.3x5? Cothbert or Corbert??? Fully engraved. Man what a nice petite action. Of course I forgot my camera!!

if the underlever was under the forend it was probably a COLATH

this was an interesting idea for an action..... but it never gained much acceptance.

every collath i have seen was beautifully engraved. they must have been expensive .

The underlever was around the trigger guard.
Collath.. I'll remember now.
