He is not my best buck, or even close in the horn department, but what a great hunt. I shot him with my Holland .30 super after a long stalk in very open country while he was bedded at just about 100 yards. A well placed shot at the base of his neck closed the deal. Hunting with and old single shot sure adds to the fun. Steve

Mighty fine buck and rifle too! Is yours the Flanged version, and if so, where do you get brass besides Bertram? Regards, Joe __________________________ You can lead a human to logic but you can't make him think. NRA Life since 1976. God bless America!

It is the flanged version. I use Bertram at the moment, but do have a bunch of Horneber(sp?) brass that I need to try out. Huntington's ordered it for me but it was not cheap, 100 piece minimum order too. Steve

I've never had any luck with Bertram brass in the several calibers I've tried and I've long wanted a 375 Holland Flanged but the brass problem has stopped me so far. Please let us know how the new brass works out! Regards, Joe __________________________ You can lead a human to logic but you can't make him think. NRA Life since 1976. God bless America!

That is a fine rifle, and well preserved. Can't beat a falling block single shot rifle. Fred M. zermel@shaw.ca

That's a mighty fine rifle, how much does it weigh? What are your hand loads? Thanks
