Can you enlighten me a little on G2 capabilities concerning size, pressure, etc. I'm generally aware of contender data already. Always admired contenders but ended up with other things.

I'm not Hobie but I know this one. The G2 is a Contender. What T/C calls the second generation, hence G2. All the older Contender barrels will fit the G2 and while it is a bit beefier, the pressure range is the same as the old model. For bigger stuff there is the Encore. The trigger mechanism is the same as the Encore on the G2 so one can recock the hammer without breaking open the action.

Three answers
1 - I'm not into rimfire guns much...so I wouldn't.
2 - I would infact buy a $500 TC G2 with my choice of carbine bull barrel barrel with nice walnut stocks...might make 'em throw in a good dual dovetail scope mount tho.
3 - Yes they (assuming correctly loading ammo and a decent shooter)are that accurate.......you have to see it to believe it. Me typing it or for that matter taking a picture it just isn't the same.
