I have a Uberti-made Cimarron in .40-65 with the checkered PG stock. It looks great and shoots well enough for my purposes. I have not shot heavier bullets than 300 grains, nor distances greater than 200 m., so I can't speak to its suitability as a BPCS rifle. I picked it up used for $600, and at that price it is a fantastic rifle.
