Nope but I wish I was! The K Hornet is a great cartridge with more push and easier reloading than it's parent....

I have one in a NEF with a 6x Weaver...great gun....it shoots a 100 crows and a few fox each year and is my constant friend in my F250. 13.0 gr LilGun and a 35 gr V-Max does the job.

Next Contender barrel will be a 16" 1 in 9" twist .223 AI to shoot 64 gr PPt and lighter...probably with a 6x Weaver or Leupold. If I could only have one .22 centerfire.....

Yes
I had a 21 inch .22 Hornet barrel for my Contender. It was a 1 in 14 twist. The Ruger 77/22-Hoornet I replaced it with has a 1 in 16 twist.
The combination shot very well and was accurate. The reason I dumped the contender was, I had 2 frames. One frame had all those SAFETIES that I could not figure out how to fire the gun. Ruger came oout with the Hornet, so it is now someboody else's problem. 2 Actions a Hornet barrel....
