I just traded for a Ruger No 1 in a .270 Weatherby cartridge. I don't know (yet) if they "freebored" it, like most Weatherby rifles, or it has the standard "long" throat of most of the No 1's I've owned. I'd appreciate it if anyone could give me some info on loading this caliber, where I can get the best deals on brass (yeh, I know it is scarce and expensive), and any other info on the rifle you'd care to share. Regards, Mags

by load for this is 67 gr H4831 & a 150 gr partition. The rifle is a redone M70 which is not freebored. Look in the barrel & you see if its free bored or not (the rifle starts latter)
