I saw a guy at a local rand the other day that had loaded a H&R Ultra Slug Gun 20 ga, I think it was the Deluxe Heavy barrel, with black powder in brass cases and conical bullets. they looked just like the old Paradox/Explora rounds. I have no idea the charge or weight of the very conical pointed bullets, but it was by far the loadest gun on the range. They looked rather heavy. That gun was easily loaded than my buddies Marlin 45-70. Have you guys done this, heard of it, and is it safe? It was kind of a redneck express bore gun. Really was neat and rather accurate too.

Is this the same gun that NEF are selling as the 'Tracker'? The single BBL rifled 12 or 20G? Cheers, Dave. Cheers, Dave. Aut Inveniam Viam aut Faciam.

I think they are one and the same. I was trying to find more out and it appear that H&R builds the 20 on a 12 frame with a thick [bull] rifled barrel. The 12 is built on a 10 ga action and also has the bull barrel. I am not planning on such a rifle, but it looked like a fun play toy for something.
