I need to get some books on British single shots and was wondering where to start. Is the Kirton book much different from the Winfer series? I would like to have all of them at the end of the day, I guess I am asking where to start.

Are there others I should look at?

I have them all and would say it depends on what you are looking for. Kirkton is mostly likely the best one to buy first unless you have a certain maker you want to research that Winfer has published on. Kirkton covers all the basics, and many makers. The winfer books cover one maker and are very detailed. All in all great suff.
