we are only turning our wood . sorry. No DIY stocks . Just finished product will be offered. We will sell completed stock set for those who have their own rifles and we will require the guns be sent to us for fitting.
Thanks

That is a great looking gun Clay. You did it right. I had no doubts it would turn out this well. Tell Tony I said hello.

Actually, I meant that we pick the lumber off Luxus (which has it's own cost) plus the cost of the turning...

Hey, Clay, this is Ed in CA...I've bought a number of blanks from you in the past, and have always been very pleased with the wood AND the service. $750 for the stock is a great price! They are absolutely beautiful, clean lines, long open grip, very classic. I'll talk with you soon...

Hi,

some will call it exhibition grade . I would call it a grade 4 as many would in the business. It is a classy dark piece.

Ok --- just be patient mine is in process (1st one ordered several months ago) and it will be a very sick rifle indeed. Is going to be a little nontraditional being Stainless 375 H&H with a very sick piece of wood as I like to say. Life is too short to use anything but the sickest of sticks dancing!

Maybe just maybe Clay will post a picture of it in process. I can't wait to get it---already have the dies, brass, bullets etc. clap

...grade 4 out of how many grades?...are all of your blanks on the custom ruger no. 1 page also rated "grade 4" (and, thus, included in the standard price)?...thanks for your reply...

Hi ,

none of the wood on the Ruger custom order page is graded . These are blanks to choose from for the completed rifle packages only and you can choose what you want. They will not be graded Although, some are 3 , some 4, some 5 . The wood on the rifle we stocked looked like a grade 3 in the blank and turned very nice. Only rifle models and options will affect the final price not the blank.
Other wood is readily available on our web site. You can contact me at Luxuswalnut@yahoo.com
if you want to place an order or have other questions.

Regards,
Lux

Hi,

its being checkered now and the grip cap needs blue and it will be ready to go.

Near month end i think.

For those searching for a big bore we purchased some hard to find 375 H&H stainless N0.1s that Ruger discontinued. They will be $2795 stocked and you pick the wood from the order page.

Also have some 450/400s in blue

Regards,
Lux
