I would like to know if I have my #1 rebarreled could I put the orginal barrel back on later and restore the gun to orginal condition. The reason being value. I am thinking if I ever want to resell or trade I could put it back stock. Can it be done? Has it? Thanks in advance.

As long as NOTHING about the action, original stock and forend are altered for the rebarreling, I see absolutely no reason to believe that you could not put the original barrel back on and restore the rifle to original condition.
