Thinking of adding one to my collection. Anyone have any recomended dealers or know of any good buys on used rifles?

We're going to be "gifted" with a health care plan we are forced to purchase and fined if we don't, Which purportedly covers at least ten million more people, without adding a single new doctor, but provides for 16,000 new IRS agents, written by a committee whose chairman says he doesn't understand it, passed by a Congress that didn't read it but exempted themselves from it, and signed by a President, with funding administered by a treasury chief who didn't pay his taxes, for which we'll be taxed for four years before any benefits take effect, by a government which has already bankrupted Social Security and Medicare, all to be overseen by a surgeon general who is obese, and financed by a country that's broke!!!!! They are very attractive rifles. I've handled one but never had the chance to shoot one. A quick Google suggests there aren't many bargains out there. Guess most folks know what they have and what it's worth. FWIW Gunsamerica has one listed in 243 with a Leupold Vari X III 4.5x14 -50 for $3175. Have fun shopping.

i've got one with 2 barrels 222 & 3006 that I bought for about 3000. the thing had a really plain piece of wood, so i restocked it. they're a really lightweight piece and quite accurate. kinda of a perfect sheep rifle. the upper grades come with full length wood and are really pretty but are over 4000. haven't seen any "bargains" on them, I really don't think there are that many out there. beautiful triggers, but the arming mechanism is the safety, something which I don't care for, but work well.

There are plenty of used ones on Guns America for $2500 from time to time.

Aleko at www.heritagearms.net is the place to get a good deal on a new one.

I have one and 3 barrels, 222, 30-06, and 243.

I bought it for my father, but it's nice enough I now want one for myself.

Probably the attache model and 3 barrels, 6.5x65R, 8x68, and 9.3x74R. It comes it about 30 calibers I think.

The 6,5x65 R is a great is a great mountain caliber. For a second barrel I recommend a 8,5x 65 R (basically a rimmed 338-06 AI). Brass available from Huntingtons (Horneber) via special order. Dies from Huntingtons as well.
Guns can be special ordered via Sigarms amd your FFL dealer or Cabelas Gun Library. Special order gives you the option to build the gun according your specs, i.e. gunstock magazin, upgraded wood etc. These two calibers cover everything ex. dangerous game.

I have a K 95 Stutzen in 308.
It is very accurate. I like it a lot and can highly recommend one.

6,5x57 mm R is most likely the most classical caliber for this kind of rifle. I have another barrel in 8x75 mm RS. Both shoot and handle very well. Even better are the triggers.

Let me add that I have not had any extraction problems with the rimless 308 case.

I would also recommend you log on to www.blaserpro.com and get acquainted with the guys there, all Blaser owners. I don't own a K95 but do own a couple of R93's.
I can also vouch for Aleko at Heritage Arms. I've bought some R93 barrels from him and was treated very well.
