What is the best trigger for the #1? The factory trigger I tried had a lot of creep.

I like the Kepplinger set trigger. I think John Lewis at Caolina Precision Rifles can provide an experts response. I recall this topic being covered here previously. Do a search and see what you find.

The Moyers trigger is inexpensive and relatively easy to install. I have one on each of my #1s.

The Kepplinger trigger is excellent. I'm not a huge fan of the Moyer's because a great percentage of the time they are as much work as re-doing a factory trigger. We get really good results out of the factory triggers, but it is a job only for someone that really knows what they are doing. We are working right now with a guy that is going to make an all steel trigger like the original #1s used, with tighter tolerances than the Moyer's. I'll keep you up to date on that project.

I just purchased two of the Canjar Single Set triggers for a couple of my # 1s. I have installed the first in a B 25/06 breaks at 2 1/2 lbs unset and 8 oz set. Was easy to install next one goes in the 338 Lapua.
