Anyone using the Pro Hunter recoil absorbing stock for the Encore? The T/C web site says a 43% reduction in felt recoil. This is a bold claim. Wondering if it works as advertised? The lightweight Encore can use help in the recoil dept. for the larger calibers.

I haven't used one (yet) but I bet the most reduction in felt recoil comes from the Limbsaver recoil pad that comes standard on the Flextech stock.

All my Encore stocks wear Limbsavers and the difference is amazing.

Yep, it's true. Between a Limbsaver recoil pad and the in-stock rubber shock absorbers, my muzzlelaoder makes three 50 gr pellets seem gentle on my twice reconstructed shoulder.
