Absolutly!!
Museum quality.
I'll never understand why they insist on mounting huge scopes on svelt rifles though??? Throws everything out of scale.

Because they shoot boar at night from the hoch sitz and need all the light-gathering power they can get.......

Different strokes you say, well yes but extremly exiting and a god way to select and kull the right animals,

The single in the pic has a claw mounts allowing the owner to have more than one sized scope to switch in between and still retain the right zeroing.

All in all a great single quite not as owervorked will be my next new rifle, preferably in 7x57R and with a switchbarrel in 9,x74R isn´t that a dream?

Best regards Chris.

in addition to the night shooting these kiplauf are mountain rifles - often requiring long shot. i do agree the large scope looks odd on it, but it works.

husquavarna - better to order your second barrel in 7 x 65 r i have a combination like that in a merkel kiplauf and it works fine for europe, england / uk , north america, and africa.

Wood is great, the engraving (sculpting? ) is a bit much for my tast in a working rifle. I want rifles that i don't mind taking in the woods and using. That is an investment, to be kept ina safe, in a controled atmosphere and eventually sold. But differant strokes.

Is it safe to let for a 58 year old man run around in the woods unsupervised with a high powered rifle?

Any rifle named Hubertus automatically guarantees the appearance of appropriate trophies for one to fire it at.......

Tomo577 I do belive that you are right about that the x65R is a bit more potent round.

I would love to have that rifle.

Best regards Chris
